ZEE5’s ‘Gaalivaana’ to start streaming on a promising note

‘Gaalivaana’ is one of the most promising web series made on Indian OTT. This ZEE5 original, produced by BBC and NorthStar Entertainment, is streaming from April 14.

Let’s refresh what it is about. “Newlyweds Ajay and Geetha get brutally murdered after returning home from their honeymoon. As the hunt for the killer begins, the suspected killer arrives at their grieving families’ doorstep,” the makers have said.

The premise is thrilling. The film’s trailer suggests that the story has been amped up by earnest performances by Radhika Sarathkumar and Sai Kumar.

The drama also features Chandini Chowdary, Nandini Rai, Chaitanya Krishna, Thagubothu Ramesh, Jyothi Pradeep, and Ashritha Vemuganti. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty of ‘Thimmarasu’ fame, the series has music by Sricharan Pakala.

For the first time, the largest ensemble cast has been brought together for a south Indian web series. With cinematography by Sujatha Siddhartha, ‘Gaalivaana’ also streams in Tamil simultaneously. With dialogues and story adaptation by Chandra Pemmaraju, the intense crime thriller has costumes by Rekha Boggarapu. Pranay Naini and Pavan Kumar H have taken care of art direction.
