Festival seasons are precious for the lovers of entertainment. More so this pandemic season, when the homebound amongst us want large doses of fun and entertainment. Zee Picchar, the popular Kannada movie channel, is busy capturing this segment with its set of movie premiers this Sankranthi.
Its Picchar Suggi bonanza is bringing the viewers the best content. “Zee Picchar is drawing from its vast movie library to provide wholesome family entertainment to its viewers. As many as 34 Kannada-language classics are going to be premiered exclusively for 11 days, starring from January 14,” the channel said.
‘Nammura Hameera’, ‘Guru’, ‘Dhani’, ‘Pralaya Rudra’, ‘Vishwa Roopa’, among others, are the popular ones. The movies feature some of the biggest names such as Tiger Prabhakar, Ambareesh, Dr. Rajkumar, Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Ananth Nag and others. The milestone romantic comedy ‘Raju Kannada Medium’ was among the four movies premiered on Sankranthi.
Raghavendra Hunsur, the Business Head of Zee Kannada and Zee Picchar said, “Zee Picchar has had a successful first year and is ready to begin the new year with acquiring films to further enhance our library. We promise to indulge the love and passion that our audience has for Kannada cinema.”
