Yuzvendra Chahal finally opens up on divorce rumours

We reported to you yesterday that Indian cricketer Yuzi Chahal’s wife Dhanashree has removed her surname from her social media handles which resulted in speculations over the couple split. Now Yuzi has reacted to the media claims on his Instagram stories.

Yuzvendra Chahal tied the know with beau Dhanashree Verma in December 2020 after meeting each other on Instagram. Dhanashree often shares endearing pictures of her husband on her social media handle and both of them are one of the most adored couples in the sports world.

Rumours of their divorce spread like wildfire after Chahal had posted a cryptic Instagram story that read ‘ New life Loading, and was followed by his choreographer wife removing the ‘Chahal’ surname from her Instagram bio.

Chahal reacted to the rumours and wrote, “A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly put an end to it. Love and light to everyone”. Dhanashree is yet to put out a statement of her own regarding the alleged rift.

Meanwhile, Chahal will be in action for India at the Asia Cup 2022, where India will open their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on August 28, at the Dubai International Stadium.
