Rishab Shetty Recalls His First Spider-Man Movie Experience in Special Marvel Video

National Award-winning actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty has opened up about his lifelong admiration for Spider-Man, revealing that the iconic Marvel superhero has been his favorite since childhood. Ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Rishab appeared in a special promotional video created by Marvel, where he shared his personal connection with the beloved superhero.

In the video, Rishab recalled watching a Spider-Man film for the very first time in a single-screen theatre during his childhood. He said that Peter Parker’s journey instantly resonated with him and has continued to inspire him over the years.

Speaking about his admiration, Rishab said, “I watched my first Spider-Man movie in a single-screen theatre many years ago. From that moment, I felt connected to Peter Parker. His journey taught me that no matter how many mistakes we make or challenges we face in life, we should never lose the goodness within us. The message that ‘with great power comes great responsibility’ has always stayed with me. That’s why Spider-Man continues to be my favorite superhero even today.”

The Kantara star also revealed that his love for Spider-Man has now been passed on to the next generation. “My children are huge Spider-Man fans too. I’ve already booked tickets for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and we’re all excited to watch the film together in theatres,” he shared.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland in the lead role, is set for a grand release in India on July 30. The superhero spectacle will be released in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, aiming to entertain audiences across the country. With excitement building among Marvel fans, the film is expected to open to a massive response in Indian theatres.
