Actress Yashika Anand debuted in Tamil with Dhurvangal Pathinaaru, the thriller flick directed by Karthick Naren and later was also seen playing one of the female leads in the Santhosh Jayakumar directorial Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu.

Yashika later became a household name as she had participated in the second season of Kamal Haasan hosted reality game show Bigg Boss. Yashika made special appearances in movies like Kazhugu 2, Maniyar Kudumbam, NOTA, and Raja Bheema.

Yashika's next release, the zombie comedy Zombie directed by Bhuvan Nullan known for directing the Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Mo, and also starring Yogi Babu, Karthik, Gopi, Sudhakar was earlier announced to be releasing on August 30, but now the release has been postponed and Zombie will now release on September 6.
