Even as the Coronavirus pandemic has been making a massive impact across the world with millions of people affected by the deadly virus and with no vaccine found and the threats of aged people and ones with comorbidity being the most risky category, here's a positive news.
A 113-year-old woman who is the oldest person living in Spain, is now world's oldest survivor of the coronavirus. Maria Branyas, a mother-of-three, who was living in Santa Maria del Tura care home in the city of Olot, eastern Spain has battled the Coronavirus successfully.
Branyas has lived through the Spanish flu pandemic which was prevalent in 1918 and 1919 and now has survived Coronavirus. Though many above 100 have survived the coronavirus, Branyas is the only supercentenarian to do it. After being diagnosed with coronavirus in April she was isolated in her room in the care home and has now tested negative.
