‘Winner’: Important dates & details

Sai Dharam Tej-starrer 'Winner', directed by Gopichand Malineni, is all done but for a song.  Currently, re-recording is ongoing.  SS Thaman's 'O Sitara', released recently by Mahesh Babu, has become an instant hit.

The director says, "It's about a youth's fight for the sake of his father and his girlfriend.  The title 'Winner' has been getting a unanimously positive response.  This is the most apt title.  We are going to unveil each of the songs by a celebrity."

Producers Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) and Tagore Madhu say, "Our director has made the film brilliantly.  The theatrical trailer will be out on Feb 9th.  A grand pre-release event will be held on Feb 19th.  The theatrical release will happen on Feb 24th, marking Maha Sivaratri."

Veligonda Srinivas has penned the story, while Abburi Ravi and Sridhar Seepana have co-written 'Winner'.  Jagapathi Babu, Mukesh Rishi, Ali and Vennela Kishore are playing other key roles.  

The cinematography is by Chota K Naidu.  Editing is by Prawin Pudi.  Art direction is by Prakash.  Stunt choreography is by Ravi Varma.
