Will Smith – Margot Robbie’s ‘Suicide Squad 2’ gets its director

In spite of mixed response from critics ‘Suicide Squad’ was a blockbuster hit around the globe riding on the charisma of lead actors Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto and a badass story.  Warner Bros is planning to shoot the sequel in 2018 with most of the principle cast returning.

David Ayer, who directed the original has declined the sequel and Gavin O Connor has been roped in to pen the script and also direct.  O Connor has the super hit ‘The Accountant’ starring Ben Affleck to his credit and will also direct the sequel to it soon.
