Will Rajamouli give Mahesh Babu the exemption?

Will Rajamouli give Mahesh the exemption? Rajamouli’s films demand an unparalleled commitment from everyone involved—a continuous stretch of bulk dates. In contrast to other projects, there’s no room for sporadic work. Once onboard, individuals must dedicate themselves from workshops to the film’s release. This level of dedication makes working on another film alongside a Rajamouli project nearly impossible. However, the trade-off is the exponential increase in the film’s anticipation and excitement.

The much-anticipated collaboration between Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu is currently in the works and has been estimated to take two to three years. Rajamouli is reportedly planning the film as a two-part project. Mahesh, understanding the challenges of dedicating three years to a single film, is negotiating with Rajamouli for a feasible schedule. His proposal includes allocating six to seven months a year for Rajamouli’s film, followed by a month or two of vacation and then potentially working on other projects during the remaining time.

If Rajamouli agrees to this arrangement, Mahesh could potentially fit in at least two other films within the three-year timeframe. This negotiation is essential for Mahesh to balance his commitment to Rajamouli’s film and maintain an active filmography. The challenge lies in accommodating Rajamouli’s meticulous filmmaking process while allowing Mahesh to pursue other projects.

Fans, while eagerly awaiting the collaboration between Mahesh and Rajamouli, are concerned about the extended time frame for the film. They acknowledge Rajamouli’s penchant for delivering international blockbusters but are hopeful for a solution that accommodates both quality and efficiency. The film unit is yet to provide an official update on SSMB 29, leaving fans eager for more clarity on this exciting collaboration.
