Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead and directed by Sachy was released in February, and the movie became a superhit, winning great reviews. After an impressive show in Kerala, now it has been said that the movie's Tamil remake is on cards.

As per reports, the Tamil remake rights of Ayyappanum Koshiyum has been bagged by Five Star groups Kathiresan, who has produced some popular and successful movies like Dhanush starrer Pollathavan and Aadukalam and Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda.

Speculations are making the rounds that the production house is in talks to sign Dhanush to play the role played by Prithviraj in the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, and an official clarification on this speculation is expected soon. Five star Kathiresan had recently announced another movie starring Raghava Lawrence as well.
