When Sai Pallavi concealed ultimate secret from friends

It was with ‘Premam’ (Malayalam) that the Tamil girl Sai Pallavi became popular.  The crush of many boys had concealed an incredible fact from her friends while doing her debut movie.

In a recent interview, the ‘Fidaa’ and ‘MCA’ actress said that since she did not want her friends from Coimbatore know that she is acting in films, she chose to debut with a Malayalam movie. “With all my friends being Tamil, none would have seen the movie even if I force them, and if the movie had failed, they would never have known it as well. However, ‘Premam’ turned a success. I had a lot of pimples in the movie, but people accepted me as I was, and I learnt that confidence is the real beauty,” the talented woman, who was a doctor by profession, says.

She awaits the release of ‘NGK’ on May 31.  Starring Suriya as the hero, it is directed by Selvaraghavan.
