What ‘Saaho’ should rake in to be safe

How much should ‘Saaho’ rake in at the box-office to be a safe project for its distributors?  How much should the Prabhas-starrer make in the Telugu States?

To be precise, the film should turn out to be the biggest non-Baahubali hit, trumping ‘Rangasthalam’ by a margin.  Here are the early figures.

The slick actioner will do a pre-release theatrical business of Rs 110 Cr in Nizam, Andhra and Ceded.  For break-even, it has to earn Rs 120 Cr. This is almost equal to the worldwide collections of Ram Charan’s mega blockbuster, ‘Rangasthalam’.

The crazy project is expected to mint moolah like only a few Hindi blockbusters this year in Hindi.  Already, it’s the biggest film to release this Independence Day, pipping the other two (Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Batla House’) in terms of popularity.

Directed by Sujeeth, it releases on August 15.
