Vivek’s wife Arul Selvi’s first press meet after his death – details

Legendary actor Vivek passed away in the early hours of April 17th leaving the entire Tamil film industry and crores of Tamil people across the globe in a deep state of shock and sorrow.  According to doctors, the actor had a 100% blockage in the LAD (left anterior descending artery) vessel which led to the massive cardiac arrest a day earlier.

Vivek’s body was cremated last evening at the Virugambakkam crematorium with fans and celebrities turning out in huge numbers to pay their last respects.  Earlier today Vivek’s wife Arul Selvi Vivek met the press along with her two daughters Tejaswani Vivek and Amritha Nandhini Vivek.

Arul Selvi thanked the state and the central governments for all the support to her and her family and especially to the police department for honoring him in a stately manner and also for supporting in the proceedings of the last rites till the very last minute.  

Arul Selvi also thanked the press for the coverage and tributes to her husband and finally the millions of fans who condoled her and her family and participated in Vivek’s final last rites.
