Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar to team up for Ratsasan 2

Vishnu Vishal’s 2018 psychological thriller film ‘Ratsasan,’ directed by Ramkumar, is arguably one of the best Tamil movies of the genre, having earned rave reviews from critics and audience. Much to the excitement of the fans, Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar will be teaming up yet again for the sequel of Ratsasan.

Ramkumar, who is currently working on Dhanush’s upcoming fantasy action film, is expected to begin working with Vishnu Vishal for Ratsasan 2 soon after he completes his ongoing project. The duo had already earlier hinted that a sequel to the psychological thriller was on the cards after Vishnu Vishal tagged Ramkumar on one of his Twitter posts, asking him if the script for Ratsasan was ready. The latter had hinted that a potential sequel was on progress.

Ratsasan tells the story of an aspiring director/police officer who sets out to solve a series of murders committed by a serial killer. The film also features Amala Paul, Ammu Abhirami, Munishkanth, Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, among others. Vishnu Vishal and Ramkumar have also previously worked together in the 2014 period comedy film Mundasupatti.
