Vishnu Vishal is what distributors call a minimum guarantee hero and one who the audience believes would be giving quality films.  He has been out of circulation for several months now due to his suffering an accident on a set.  Vishnu has shared on social media the ordeal he had to go through falling into alcoholism and depression and the inspiring story of how he got back comparing his recovery to the 'Vaaranam Aayiram' way.

Vishnu is surely an inspiration to those who feel down and out and his life is picking up after finding new romance with Jwala Gutta and a string of movies including 'Kaadan', 'FIR' , 'Jagajala Killadi' and one his reunion with director Chella Ayyavu of 'Silukuvarpatti Singam' fame'.
