Vishnu on a roll: IT heist drama, political drama, action thriller

Manchu Vishnu has teamed up with actress Kajal Aggarwal for an IT heist thriller.  Based on a true story, the film will be a cross-over one, involving scores of Indian and foreign technicians.  Vishnu is co-producing this one.

If you thought, this is the only project in Vishnu’s kitty, you are wrong.  In all, three films and a web series have been announced.  

“The Manchu actor will produce a new-age action-thriller and will launch a debutant director named Subbu with this one.  Titled ‘Mira Road’, this one too is based on a true story. This film will see a fantastic line up of star cast and technicians,” the makers say.  ‘Mira Road’ will release by the end of this year.  

Above all, Vishnu will produce a Hollywood project.  To be directed by Jeffery Chin, it will have Kajal Aggarwal in a key role and is based on a true story. “A well-known Hollywood actor will also act in it,” the makers say.  

Besides, Vishnu will produce a political drama for a digital streaming platform.  “A real incident that happened in undivided Andhra Pradesh is the inspiration for it,” the makers say.  Directed by Debutant Raj, it will have Srikanth in the lead.  Written by Raj, its dialogues are by Parachuri Gopala Krishna.
