Vishal’s political foray may have been delayed due to his application rejection drama in the RK Nagar by-polls but the people in the know suggest that he would soon become active in that arena. As if to support this speculation, Vishal has released a well balanced statement urging the government to close all the wine shops in the state that hinder the public. This is in response to the Edappadi Pazhaniswamy establishment’s decision to shut down 500 wine shops to commemorate the birthday of former CM J.Jayalalitha which falls on the 24th of this month.
Vishal has welcomed the move by the government but has also brought to their notice two troublesome shops in the RK Nagar constituency and the Thiruvotriyur highway which are functional in spite of repeated requests and agitations by the people of the area. The ‘Sandakozhi2’ star has suggested that the above mentioned shops along with all the other controversial locations be added to the closure list.
