We saw that Vishal's 'Laththi' teaser release was announced last week with a prelude promo. On Sunday, the makers unleashed the Laththi teaser at the launch event that happened in Chennai, as reported earlier. The video which is almost two-minute-long is now going viral on social media.

The teaser begins with an injured Vishal, who plays a police constable, challenging a bunch of rowdies, who have him beaten up and captured, in an abandoned building. We were then shown fast cuts of the actor as a righteous and courageous cop. Laththi seems to be a survival thriller about a police constable, who is stuck in a building full of goons who want him dead.

The teaser not only sets up the premise but also impresses the audience with tremendous technical work. Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score, Balasubramaniem's visuals, NB Srikanth's cuts and Peter Hein's stunt choreography make the video more intriguing. Sunainaa plays the female lead in Laththi.

Laththi is helmed by debut director Vinod Kumar and bankrolled by Ramana and Nandaa's banner RANA Productions. The film was initially planned to be released on August 11 but the team is now planning to release the survival thriller on September 15. The makers are aiming to release the movie on a Pan - Indian scale in five languages.
