Vishal’s swift action saves the ‘Aanpavam’ actress

Actor Vishal has been spearheading various philanthropic activities and he has reached out to those in need of help in whatever ways possible. As the new General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam he is committed to the cause of enrolling all the impoverished theater artists as the members of Nadigar Sangam and creating a regular source of income for them.

During the run up for the Nadigar Sangam Elections last year Vishal and his Pandavar Ani learnt about the pathetic living condition of senior actress and singer Paravai Muniyamma and visited her personally to donate funds for her medical treatment.

Now Vishal to came to know that another senior actress Kollangudi Karuppayi who acted in the memorable grandmother character in director R.Pandiyarajan's debut film and has acted in so many films after that is toiling hard to make ends meet with the Government's pension of Rs.1,500.

Immediately he contacted the aged actress through his friends and provided the requisite help to redeem her from the sufferings. After knowing that Karuppayi does not hold a membership in the Nadigar Sangam. Vishal has immediately beefed up the procedures to enroll her as a member of the Sangam so that all the financial and other aids provided by the Sangam will reach her.
