The hot contestations over the Nadigar Sangam in Chennai is well-known. The industry is vertically divided over several issues and the recent issues related to the Sangam are hottest among all. Vishal, who has been at the forefront of some of the recent events concerning the Sangam, has come in for praise from a senior like Kamal Haasan.

Yesterday, FEFSI conducted a special May Day celebration event which had the Central Minister of Labour and Employment Bandar Dattatreya as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion Kamal Haasan heaped praise on Vishal calling a courageous soldier.

Kamal said that for the past forty years, although he, along with other seniors, had been voicing their opinions about the Nadigar Sangam, they had failed to take action because they did not want their shirts to become dirty. On the other hand, Vishal and his team, even after knowing that their shirts would be stripped off, took the plunge and successfully rescued the organization.
