One of the long in the news, sequel in Tamil cinema has finally gone on floors today with a formal pooja. We are talking about director Lingusamy's 'Sandakozhi 2' which happens to be its lead actor VIshal's landmark 25th film as an actor.

'Sandakozhi' released in the year 2005 was Vishal's second film as an actor and it turned out to be a blockbuster hit. Now the sequel has begun officially today with a pooja that took plays this morning at a grand set worth Rs.6 crores, erected in Binny Mills, Chennai.The first schedule of shooting will happen in this set.The shooting will apparently start from August 31, 2017.

'Sandakozhi 2' will have Vishal and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is touted to play a negative role in this film which will have music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
