Viral Kohli is one of the loved players in the Indian cricket team and recently the ex-skipper has struggled to return to his form. Now the latest news reveals that Virat is earning a whopping amount just by posting photos fo his social media account.

Kohli is followed by 50.4 million users on Twitter and more than 49 million Facebook users like his page on the platform. He also has 215 million followers on Instagram. The former India captain’s massive social media following has seen him make huge monetary gains and he has reportedly shattered earning records now.

As per reports, Virat Kohli charges a humongous amount of $ 1,088,000, which is equivalent to Rs 8.9 crore (approx), per Instagram post. The Delhi-born player is the only Asian in the top 20 list. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is the next Indian celebrity on the list at the 27th spot. Kohli is the only cricketer on the elite list.

The three other sports stars above him in the list are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior.  Cristiano Ronaldo, the only celebrity to be followed by more than 400 million users on Instagram, tops the list. He charges $ 2,397,000 (Rs 19 crore approx) per post. Lionel Messi sits at the 3rd spot and charges $ 1777000 (Rs 14 crore approx) per post. Another Indian on the list is Priyanka Chopra. The actress, who has 77,985,157 followers, charges $423,000 for one post. She is ranked 27 on the list.
