Viral! Puneeth Rajkumar in the climax of ‘Kantara’

‘Kantara’ was supposed to have Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role. As Shiva, the Sandalwood actor would have brought to the table a superlative performance. While Rishab Shetty has delivered a  top-notch performance, it is still interesting to imagine a hypothetical situation where Punneth is the hero.

Netizens are doing just that. A fan-edit video clip of Puneeth possessed by the Guliga demigod in the climax of the film has been put out. The clip is going viral on the Internet. It is a photo-shop fan-made edit. 

Meanwhile, the Hindi version of ‘Kantara’ will stream on Netflix from December 9. 

The South Indian versions are streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The other day, the original ‘Varaha Roopam’ song started to be used on OTT after a recent Kerala court order reversed its earlier ban on the song owing to “plagiarism” charges.
