Vin Diesel and Paul Walker shared a brotherly bond after they co-starred in 'The Fast and the Furious' in 2001 which continued for seven films in the series before the latter passed away in a car crash in 2013 just before completing shooting for 'Furious 7'. Walker's daughter Meadow Rain Walker is celebrating her 21st birthday and Diesel has posted an emotional message to her along with a photograph of the young girl with his four-year-old daughter Pauline named after his departed friend.

Vin Diesel wrote ""I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming... but the truth is I have always been proud of you, I know it’s your 21st and you wanted to go big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry. Love you kid. Uncle Vin."

Meadow Rain Walker who is in Japan responded "Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see you soon. And my little angels," she wrote. "Love you."
