Chiyaan Vikram's recent release 'Mahaan' directed by Karthik Subbaraj went directly to OTT and is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The stunning performance of Vikram as a common man turned baddie has had both critics and fans raving.

A few days back it was confirmed that the entire shooting of Vikram's cyber thriller 'Cobra' has been wrapped up. Now Ajay Gnanamuthu the director of the film has revealed on social media that there are plans to release the film in theaters on May 26th. He was responding to a query by a Twitter user and has brought great cheer to fans.

'Cobra' has music score by A.R. Rahman and is produced on a grand scale by Seven Screen Studios. The film stars Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead role, while cricketer Irfan Pathan plays the chief antagonist supported by Robo Shankar, Miya George, Shaji Chen, Kanika and K.S. Ravikumar.
