Rajini-Shankar get their Extraordinary Villain

After a gap of many decades Rajini is going to shoot simultaneously for two movies, one being the Ranjith project and the other to be helmed by Shankar. As reported earlier the Shankar project is going to have the backing of a global production house and is said to be made with a budget of more than Rs. 300 crores, that is going to be a first for an Indian film.

The team approached many big names like Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan to play the mega villain opposite Rajini but they feel that their first choice for the role Vikram is the best choice. Vikram is an actor who gives the double of 100 percent for his roles and Rajini and Shankar have come to the decision that he is the only actor who can do justice to the multicolored villain who has equal importance to Rajini’s character in the story.
