The film “Peranbum Perungobamum” features Vijith Bachan, son of Thangar Bachan, in the lead role. Directed by Sivaprakash, the film marks the debut of actress Shali Nivegas. The movie also stars Mime Gopi, Aruldoss, Logu, Subatra, Deepa, and Sai Vinoth. Music is composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja, and the dialogues are penned by Murugesh Babu. The movie is produced by Kamatchi Jayakrishnan under the banner E5 Entertainment. The audio launch event was recently held in Chennai.

The event saw the participation of notable directors like S.A. Chandrasekhar, R.V. Udayakumar, Vasanthabalan, Karu. Pazhaniappan, R. Kannan, Suseenthiran, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Snehan, Chitra Lakshmanan, and actress Devayani along with the film crew.

At the event, Naam Tamilar Party Coordinator Seeman praised director Sivaprakash, who had been mentored by the late filmmaker Balu Mahendra. Seeman mentioned that the film tackles social issues like caste discrimination without exaggeration, and delivers a powerful message in just two hours.

Seeman also expressed joy that newcomer Sivaprakash had the rare opportunity to collaborate with music maestro Ilaiyaraaja in his very first movie. He praised Ilaiyaraaja not just as a musical genius but as the “God of Music.” He noted that even after 40 years, the maestro’s music remains timeless and emotionally powerful. Seeman added that Ilaiyaraaja’s background scores can sometimes convey an entire story on their own. Praising Vijith’s acting, he compared his expressive body language to that of S.A. Chandrasekhar in “Palaivana Solai.”
