Veteran actress blasts Sai Pallavi for her comments on cow vigilantism

Sai Pallavi recently drew parallels with The Kashmir Files and the beating up of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, for which she also paid the cost of getting into unwanted trouble. A police case was filed against her by the Bajrang dal activists. Now Veteran actress Vijayashanthi has blasted Sai Pallavi on her Twitter account.

Vijayashanthi on her Twitter page wrote, “Denouncing the killings of sacred cows shouldn’t be compared to the Kashmiri genocide. She further explained that we can realize that both are not the same if we think for a second.

Vijayashanthi slammed Sai Pallavi with her stringent question, “How can beating up a thief and a mother beating up a son for committing a mistake can be similar? Do you treat the thief and mother in the same manner?” She said that if one has no knowledge about the issues, he/she should stay away from commenting on them. She further added that influential people should be careful with their words in today’s world.

“It is heard that the people who get financial benefits from Sai Pallavi’s film (Virata Parvam) are trying to sensationalise her statements on The Kashmir Files and make their film get attention,” Vijayshanti further opined.
