Vijayasai Reddy shamed for calling CBN ‘420’ in birthday wishes

While wishing Chandrababu Naidu on his birthday today, YCP leader Vijayasai Reddy resorted to mud-slinging. In his tweet, he described the former AP Chief Minister as a ‘420’.

Writing a Telugu-language tweet, Reddy said that Naidu is celebrating his birthday in a neighbouring State because TDP offices have been virtually shut down due to desertions in Andhra Pradesh.

In a subsequent tweet, Reddy said that Naidu had started his career selling cinema tickets in black. “Eventually, black remained his favourite and he dedicated his life and energy in amassing black money. He has mastered the art of deals in dark and pooling Benami wealth and property,” he added. 

Reddy’s tweets have come in for much criticism. “It’s a misfortune that a leader of this sort of cheap thinking is in politics,” a fanboy of Naidu wrote.
