Actor and Politician Vijayakanth who was suffering from Diabetes got three of his toes amputated in a surgery after advice from the doctors on Tuesday since there is no streamlined circulation of blood to the toe region in the right leg.

After knowing about this Superstar wished Captain a speedy recovery. Taking to his social networking page, actor Rajinikanth posted in Tamil, which translates to, “I pray to Almighty God that my wonderful friend Vijaykanth will soon recover and roar as captain as before.”

The Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam said the DMDK leader is being closely monitored by the doctors and is doing fine. “He is likely to return home in a couple of days once the treatment is completed,” the DMDK statement read.
