Vijay Sethupathi, who started his movie career as a supporting actor in Tamil cinema, has today risen to the level of a busy pan Indian star who has a lineup of exciting films in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. The versatile actor is married to Jessy and has two children Surya and Shreeja who have both acted as child artistes in ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ and ‘Mugizh’ respectively.
Surya has apparently decided to follow his father’s footsteps and is slowly shaping his film career. He is playing a pivotal role in Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai 2’ costarring Vijay Sethupathi, Soori and Bhavani Sre. He is also playing one of the main leads in a new web series titled ‘Nadu Center’ produced by Disney Plus Hotstar which is progressing at a brisk pace.
Meanwhile stills of Surya Sethupathi as a teenager with a fresh moustache posing with his dad have gone viral on the internet. It is said that he has embarked on full training to become a hero in the arts of kalari, mixed martial arts and dance.
Vijay Sethupathi on the other hands has his hands full of upcoming projects such as ‘Merry Christmas’, ‘Jawan’, ‘Gandhi Talks’, ‘Viduthalai 2’, ‘Maharaja’ and an untitled film produced and directed by Arumugakumar. Sources say he is also likely to costar with Kamal Haasan again in ‘KH 233’ directed by H. Vinoth.
