Has Vijay Sethupathi opted out of next movie?

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is currently shooting for Sanga Tamizhan, and will soon begin shooting for his  next movie, which is the biopic of Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. The actor lastly had a release with Sindhubaadh in Tamil and Marconi Mathaai in Malayalam.

Besides his Tamil films, the actor is all set to debut in Telugu this year with Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and after that he had also signed his next Telugu movie Uppena. Directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana, this movie will have Vijay Sethupathi as the villain and Pancha Vaishnav Dev as the hero.

Reportedly the actor will play the heroine Krithi Shetty’s father and will be a powerful role. Recently there were rumours making rounds that Vijay Sethupathi has opted out of Uppena, but the director has revealed in a recent interview that Vijay Sethupathi is still a part of the movie and is getting ready for the role.
