The 'Master' audio launch in spite of the coronavirus threat was a grand success at the Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai and the subsequent telecast on Sun TV that had a record number of viewers watching from home. Apart from Vijay's most expected end speech the other hero Vijay Sethupathi's frank speech also won many hearts. The Makkal Selvan as he is fondly called by one and all stated that humanity is above all and no God will come to help in the time of crisis except the fellow human being. He also urged people to promote humanity and keep a healthy distance from those who claim to save God and fight in the name of it.
Actress politician Gayathri Raghuram took to Twitter to slam Vijay Sethupathi's speech writing "Good luck with believing another human nanba. No beliefs can destroyed. There are crores of believers (all religion) and if you think we all are dumb, I feel sorry you for believing another human who can lie and hate instantly. Life is designed by god only
Gayathri has responded to our news in Tamil font and has clarified "i did not condemn it. He is free to talk anything it’s his democracy. I don’t agree with his view. my freedom. Not everyone will stop believing god or stop believing god believers just bcos vijaysethupathy said it. atheist will like his speech according to them that’s secularism. I never stop his views and I will not stop sharing my views. When there is action there will always be opposite reaction."
