Vijay Sethupathi and Vetrimaaran are undoubtedly the most intense and exciting actor and director to emerge in Tamil cinema over the past decade or so. The dream almost came true when Vetrimaaran cast VJS in his 'Vada Chennai' as the powerful Rajan but the actor had to opt out due to scheduling conflicts and Ameer enacted the role.

Now comes the hot news that Vetrimaaran has approached Vijay Sethupathi to play yet another powerful character in his new movie that has Soori in the lead. Bharathiraja had signed on to play that pivotal central character based on the short story 'Thunaivan' written by Jeyamohan. But the veteran director could not fullfil his commitment due to very cold weather in the Sathyamangalam forests where the shoot was plannned.

It was later said that actor Kishore replaced Bharathiraja but now it is said that Vetrimaaran has decided to go with Vijay Sethupathi and already the makeup test in old getup has been done. The official confirmation on this super exciting project is expected in no more than a few days time.
