Vijay Sethupathi prefers Sivakarthikeyan to other heroes

After MGR-Sivaji, Rajini-Kamal, Vijay-Ajith and Simbu-Dhanush many consider Vijay Sethupathi-Sivakarthikeyan as the modern day rivals. However, similar to the other superstars mentioned Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan are very good buddies.

For the recent film ‘Rekka’, for the song ‘Viru viru’ director Rathnakumar wanted to have the banner of a top star in the background and Vijay Sethupathi was required to imitate the steps of the star. The obvious choices were Rajini, Kamal, Vijay or Ajith but Vijay Sethupathi insisted on having Siva’s ‘Maan Karate’ banner in the backdrop and also perfectly matched his famous step from the film. That’s true professionalism and camaraderie for you. By the way Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Remo’ and Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Rekka’ will lock horns at the box office on the 7th of October this year.
