‘Vikram Vedha’ is continuing its dream run at not only the domestic box office, but is also a huge hit in the overseas market, especially in the US where it is second only to ‘Baahubali 2’. Vijay Sethupathi who rocked as Vedha has moved on to his next project ‘96’ directed by C. Premkumar for which the shooting is currently going on in Pondicherry.
Sivaji and Kamal in films like ‘Thiruvarutchelvar’ and ‘Dasavatharam’ have successfully donned getups of a Nonagenarian and Vijay Sethupathi is doing the same for ‘96’. According to sources close to the team the story takes place in the year 1996 but the life of the hero will be portrayed from the ages of 16 to 96 and VJS will play a very old grandfather in the climactic portion. The film has Trisha as the heroine and the positive buzz for it has already skyrocketed.
