Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is all set to deliver his milestone 50th film, 'Maharaja'. The tremendous actor is known for his versatility and power-packed performances. The upcoming action thriller directed by Nithilan Swaminathan of 'Kurambu Bommai' fame is produced by Passion Studios along with The Route.

Reportedly, this movie is the latest addition to the Summer race. The team is planning to release 'Maharaja' on May 16 as per our sources. We have to wait for the official update. Vijay Sethupathi portrays a barber in this film. The star cast includes Abhirami, Mamta Mohandas, Arul Doss, Singam Puli, Natty Natraj, Anurag Kashyap and many others.

'Maharaja' has music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, Dinesh Purushothaman as the cinematographer and Philomin Raj as the editor. On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi also has director Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai Part 2' and an untitled film with Mysskin. He is also likely to play a powerful role opposite Superstar Rajinikanth in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Thalaivar 171'.
