Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' released across the globe on Thursday and the film has been getting positive reviews from all corners. The 'Rangu' song rendered by T.Rajendhar and Sonu Kakkar has not been included in the film and it comes with the end credits.
It is common in Tamil film music albums to see a song having two versions sung by different singers. Both the versions or either of the two will be used in the film. In some instances, one version of the song will not be included in the music album and it will come as a surprise in the film. This has happened in'Theri' with G.V.Prakash Kumar's musical score.
Another notable change has been made in the film with respect to 'En Jeevan' melody song between Vijay and Samantha. The male voice for this song has been rendered by veteran singer Hariharan with Saindhavi and Vaikom Vijayalakshmi as co-singers. But another version of the song sung in which G. V.Prakash Kumar has lent his voice has been used in the film.
