Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, the fans association of Thalapathy Vijay, has clarified its stand on the former PRO of the actor. VMI has today made a press release, where they have clearly dissociated themselves from the Ex-PRO clarifying that he is no more associated with Vijay as a PRO and that he had never been a part of VMI as well.

"Vijay has never acknowledged any individual's personal views presented on media as his views, and he has neither indulged in degrading or comparative talks in any situation or time of his life nor has he authorized any individual to indulge in such hate speeches. Hence people are requested not to believe any individual presenting facts on Vijay or involving in discussions related to the actor on media" read the press release.

It has been said that the reason behind this press release happens to be a recent interview of Thalapathy Vijay's former PRO on a television channel, where he had let out controversial views involving Vijay, while also making comparisons with Superstar Rajnikanth. The PRO had been associated with Thalapathy Vijay for years and had produced few flicks besides also directing a movie.
