Ilayathalapathy Vijay's down to earth attitude and affection for fans has been in the forefront recently. A few weeks back Vijay visited the house of his two young fans who died in a fatal accident on their way to catch the FDFS of his latest film 'Puli'. The indomitable star not just condoled the bereaved families but also gave them financial aide and requested them to contact him if they need any other help.

Now what may come as a mind-blowing expression of Vijay's down to earth nature, a woman has shared how Vijay accommodated her request to meet her Vijay fan husband on the latter's birthday.

This is to all Thalapathy lovers and mainly haters. (I) am not a huge fan of Mr.Vijay but my husband is !!! So I decided to surprise him by organising a meet up with his hero thro a common friend And I was in the least hope that Despite his stardom & busy schedules he will even agree.. To my big surprise he said yes to meet us.. & The best part is the way he welcomed us, treated us, spoke to all of us and played with my son etc.. It's unbelievable.. I then realised why there is a huge fan following for Mr.Vijay and Why he never loses his Stardom!!! Vijay Sir – I must admit you are an amazing personality, down to earth and an excellent human being.. We are grateful that we had some wonderful time with you which we can never forget in our lives.
