A funny cute tale of love and hate: Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s ‘Kushi’ trailer!

Sensational star Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the official trailer of his upcoming film ‘Kushi’ today. Samantha is the leading lady of the rom-com entertainer. We get a glimpse of the crazy and colourful love story between Viplav (Vijay) and Aaradhya (Samantha) in the 3-minute-long video.

Shiva Nirvana directed this movie. Vijay Deverakonda meets Samantha in Kashmir in the trailer’s opening and assumes that she is a Muslim girl named Begum. However, he later finds out that she is a Hindu and the two eventually fall in love. Samantha parts ways with her family and lives together with him when her family objects to their marriage citing they aren’t made for each other.

The couple wants to prove to her family that they are a perfect pair. But things don’t work out their way when they live together resulting in Sam fearing whether her family was right. Though the premise is old school, Kushi seems to be an endearing movie with wholesome moments, given the cute chemistry between Deverakonda and Samantha. Kushi is all set to hit the cinemas on September 1.

The ensemble star cast also comprises Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Ali, Lakshmi, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Rohini, Srikanth Iyengar, Saranya Pradeep and many others. It is safe to say that Hesham Abdul Wahab’s musical score is the soul of the trailer with impressive visuals from G Murali and witty cuts from Prawin Pudi.
