Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ censor and run time details are here

On the eve of the release of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailerr’ the censor and run time details have been made available.  The CBFC has awarded the film ‘UA’ certificate with the running time of 2 hours 45 minutes. The first half will run for 1 hour and 19 minutes while the second half is about 1 hour and 26 minutes long.

It is worth mentioning that Rajini’s previous film ‘Annaathe’ directed by Siruthai Siva had a similar run time of 2 hours and 43 minutes long.  Sources close to the team suggest that in the first half Rajini will be seen in a calm and subdued character and at the interval he will peak as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian and become a nightmare to the villains.

Produced by Sun Pictures, ‘Jailer’ is directed by Nelson with music by Anirudh.  The film’s ensemble star cast comprises of Rajinikanth, Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley and others. Vijay Karthik Kannan has taken care of  the cinematography while Nirmal has served as the editor.
