'Liger', which has Vijay Deverakonda as a kick-boxing champion, will hit the screens on September 9 in five languages across the world. On Thursday, announcing the date, the makers sounded super-confident.
"The Date is set. India - we are coming! September 9, 2021 (sic)," the 'Geetha Govindam' actor tweeted.
Producer Karan Johar tweeted, "All set to pack a punch around the globe! #Liger is releasing in theatres on 9th September worldwide in 5 languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam (sic)."
Coming with the caption #SaalaCrossbreed, the film is directed by Puri Jagannadh, who has promised Dhamakedar Entertainment with the film. This is his biggest project, just as it is in the case of VD, Ananya Pandey and a few others associated with the action-drama.
'Liger' is going to be shot in Mumbai for the next few weeks. Puri has taken a time off from social media to focus on the upcoming schedules.
