Vijay Antony’s Six Months Experience as a Beggar

Music Director turned Actor Vijay Antony after his ‘India Pakistan’ is shooting for director Sasi’s ‘Pichaikaaran’ in which he plays the role of a beggar.

Speaking about the film the ‘Salim’ actor said that he did not have any difficulty in getting into the skin of the character as initially when he came to Chennai for six months he had walked into offices of many production companies begging for a chance to compose music for films and he has replicated the same emotion when acting as a beggar.

Vijay Antony added that beggars are pushed to the lowly life because of some tragic incident in their lives and they accept alms if we give them or they just leave if we don’t and are far better than the murderers, thieves and sex offenders who live gentlemanly lives in the society.
