Vijay Antony is a distinctive actor in Tamil cinema who always impresses the fans with his versatile choice of scripts. The music composer turned actor has an interesting set of films in his pipeline. One of his upcoming projects is 'Valli Mayil' with renowned director Suseenthiran.

Today, the makers unveiled the first look poster of 'Valli Mayil' featuring Vijay Antony as a police officer. Looks like the actor is playing a cop again after 'Thimiru Pudichavan'. The movie also stars Bharathiraja, Sathyaraj, Faria Abdullah (Jathi Ratnalu fame), Sunil (Pushpa fame), Thambi Ramiah, Redin Kingsley, Aranthangi Nisha and Singam Puli in prominent roles.

Reportedly, the story of 'Valli Mayil' is set in the background of the 1980s and the team has planned to release the film in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Bankrolled by Nallusamy Pictures, the movie has music scored by D Imman and cinematography is handled by Vijay K Chakravarthi.
