The intriguing motion poster of Vijay Antony’s ‘Kolai’ goes viral!

Vijay Antony will be next seen in Kolai, directed by Balaji Kumar. The film is gearing up for a release and the makers revealed the ensemble cast with character posters last week. On Friday, the team launched the intriguing motion poster of the whodunit thriller.

The motion poster introduces a bunch of characters – the photographer, the agent, the manager and the neighbour. All of them are seated under a spotlight in a detective’s investigation room. The video ends with the question, “Who killed Leila?” Kolai is set to release in Telugu and Hindi as Hatya.

Earlier in an interview, director Balaji told that the film is a psychological murder mystery inspired by a real incident that happened in New York in 1923. Kolai has Vijay Antony and Ritika Singh as the lead pair. Vijay Antony will be seen as a private investigator. Produced by Infiniti Film Ventures & Lotus Pictures, the release date is expected to be revealed soon.

The supporting cast includes Meenakshi Chaudhary, Murli Sharma, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddhartha Shankar, Kishore Kumar, John Vijay, Arjun Chidambaram & Samkit Bohra. Kolai has music scored by Girishh Gopalakrishnan, cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan, editing by Selva RK and production design by Arusamy.
