Tamil star Silambarasan unveiled the trailer for "Hitler," a vigilante thriller starring Vijay Antony, on Wednesday. The trailer immediately draws parallels to the 2002 action drama "Samurai," starring Chiyaan Vikram, where a vigilante fights against corruption to avenge his loved one. "Hitler" seems to follow a similar path, offering a familiar yet potentially gripping storyline.
The film delves into a world of political intrigue, where seasoned cop Gautham Vasudev Menon investigates a case involving a triple homicide. His investigation uncovers a web of deceit and destruction orchestrated by power-hungry politicians.
Vijay Antony portrays a dual-faceted character, initially a simple man living a contented life, only to have his world shattered by a ruthless politician, Charanraj, who prioritizes winning elections at any cost. "If people remember what we did, how come we’ve won five consecutive terms?" quips the politician, revealing his callous disregard for human life.
The hero's transformation into a vigilante seems to be ignited by a tragic event, a consequence of the politician's evil deeds, claiming innocent lives.
While the plot may offer a familiar narrative, Vijay Antony's portrayal of the hero's journey, coupled with the trailer's action-packed sequences, promises a thrilling cinematic experience.
"This film has everything one would expect in a commercial movie. I don't have a particular message to say in this film. The main aim of this movie is to entertain the audience, and Dana has made a movie that will keep the audience in its grip from start to finish," said Vijay Antony.
"Hitler," written and directed by Dana SA, features an ensemble cast including Riya Suman, Reddinn Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna, Tamizh (Director), and Aadukalam Naren. The film is set to hit cinemas on September 27th, promising a thrilling and entertaining cinematic experience. The film's trailer increased expectations on it among movie lovers who are awaiting the films release.
