Lyca Productions announced last year that Vignesh Shivan will be directing Ajith Kumar’s 62nd film. Wikki was a great fan of AK and expressed his happiness by writing on social media that directing his idol is going to be the best thing that ever happened in his life.

Recently, reports broke out that Ajith Kumar and Lyca Productions changed the director of ‘AK62’. Now, Vignesh Shivan has made some changes on his social media account indirectly denoting that he is out of the much-awaited movie. Wikki had the tag “director of AK62” on his Twitter bio and he has now changed it to “Wikki6”. He also changed the cover picture which previously was Ajith Kumar’s picture to a motivational quote.

Meanwhile, we already broke to you that Magizh Thirumeni is most likely to be the new director of AK62. The film will be made on a huge budget of Rs 220 crores and the team is aiming for a Diwali 2023 release. Magizh Thirumeni is roped in for a whopping remuneration in AK62. Arun Raj (Thadam fame) or Sam CS or Santhosh Narayanan is expected to score music for the movie.
