Did you know Vetrimaaran was about to make a cricket film – Will it be revived?

Vetrimaaran, ever since his debut movie ‘Polladhavan’ has been one of the higly rated filmmakers in not only Tamil cinema but in the country as well.  Leading music composer and actor GV Prakash has revealed that Vetrimaaran, with whom he has been closely associated with all these years had planned to make a cricket based film with him.

According to GVP many years back Vetrimaaran scripted a film with cricket at its core and was about to film it but the project was dropped due to financial issues of the producer.  The award winning music composer however expressed confidence that after his friend completes his current projects such as ‘Viduthalai 2’ and ‘Vaadivaasal’ there is a possibility of reviving the film.  He also added that he will definately acting in a film directed by Vetrimaaran as well.

G.V. Prakash’s new movie ‘Adiye’ costarring Gouri G Kishan and Venkat Prabhu is releasing on August 25th.  The film based on alternate reality has gained attention after the trailer was released some time back.
