Actor Sarathkumar, who began his career as a producer and produced several movies before acting as a villain as well in many hits later went on to play lead roles and was one of the top stars of Kollywood in the 90s.
Fondly called Supreme Star, Sarathkumar acted in numerous blockbuster movies like Naatamai, Surya vamsam, Samuthiram, Suriyan etc and had also started the political party Samathuva makkal katchi.
